California Dems promise to fight Trump administration's 'gun-to-the-head' crack down on sanctuary cities

Almost every level of government in California today had a strong reaction to Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ warning of a pending crack down on sanctuary cities and their federal funding.

The Sacramento Bee reports that California Chief Justice Tani Cantil-Sakauye on Monday cautioned that “the rule of law is being challenged” and urged the state to “persevere in our values in times of upheaval” to protect equality and diversity.
