I have to agree with Scott Jennings. Heck, I rarely disagree with him. But he’s right again. These Republican town halls have become a joke. They are nothing more than an opportunity for aging Democrat boomers to scream for ‘news’ cameras eager to create false narratives that Republicans are abandoning President Donald Trump or hate DOGE.

BOOM: Scott Jennings says Republican town halls have become therapy sessions for boomer Democrats shouting conspiracy theories about Elon Musk.
After Rep. Byron Donalds was repeatedly shouted down by an angry crowd during a town hall in Estero, Florida, Scott Jennings made it clear: Republicans have nothing to gain from these spectacles—unless they enjoy being screamed at by aging conspiracy-fueled activists.
When asked if he’d consider hosting one himself, @ScottJenningsKY unleashed.
“I guess it depends on what you want your——how you want to spend your nights, getting yelled at by unhinged boomer Democrats.”
He’s not just exaggerating. Jennings pointed to the exact kind of people showing up to these events—and the absurd things they’re saying.“I mean, do you see, like these people?” he asked.
Then he shared one of the wildest claims he heard from Donalds’ town hall:“Did you hear the voter that we played? ‘Elon Musk is personally invading my social security file.’
”Jennings wasn’t amused.“That’s not the mark of someone who’s concerned about the economy,” he said. “That’s the mark of someone who’s an unhinged boomer Democrat partisan activist who showed up to yell at a Republican.
”He wasn’t done, either. Jennings reiterated just how detached from reality the entire moment was.
“That person thinks that Elon Musk is personally invading his file?!
I mean, think about think about the level of conspiracy theory partisanship that you’d have to engage in to believe that the world’s richest man is getting into you social security file.”His conclusion was simple, direct, and damning:“Democrats love to do nothing more than show up and yell at Republicans.”

These posters agree with me and Jennings.
Jennings is right. The town halls are a joke. Democrats are just going to them to harass Republicans with nonsense.

Total waste of time.
Republicans need to enact a moratorium on town halls. They’re not representative of Republican voters and are not productive at all. Like you, I’m tired of watching these unhinged Dems make a spectacle of themselves to feed yet another false narrative. Shut them down.
