It infuriates me Democrats think that uncovering fraud and saving taxpayers money is a big joke. You should be furious that Democrat Martin O’Malley, the former Commissioner of the Social Security Administration, is laughing at you. He’s also calling the DOGE team that is identifying waste a bunch of 19-year-old nitwits.
Check out this smug video of him. (WATCH)
Martin O'Malley, former Commissioner of Social Security Admin, thinks it's absolutely hilarious that your tax dollars are being lost to fraud & payments to illegals.

O'Malley says Elon's team are "19 year-old nitwits who are violating the law" as he mocks concerns of taxpayers. pic.twitter.com/fmUBGxC9JQ
Commenters noticed something I and others have noticed as well, no one ever specifies exactly which laws Musk and DOGE are allegedly breaking. There’s also a focus on DOGE itself and not on what they are uncovering.
Odd that they never say what laws are being violated. I also find it bizarre that they are attacking those finding the fraud rather than those who perpetrated it.

Dismissal rather than factual rebuttal. And as you say, always attacking those exposing the fraud.
— Jeff Carlson (@themarketswork) February 18, 2025
He’s also creating a trap for Musk
— Cheese Crackers 🇺🇸 (@Why45huh) February 18, 2025
“You have no proof. Who are these people you say have fraudulent SS numbers?”
“Musk had better not be accessing any user data that would identify these people”
Sounds like this guy wants Musk to get into trouble
— Cheese Crackers 🇺🇸 (@Why45huh) February 18, 2025
He dares Musk to release the names of these people Musk claims are fraudulent (150yr olds)
Then, asserts it will be a crime for Elon to see or release the information
Set up!
I have to agree it does sound like O’Malley is taunting Musk in hopes he’ll do something rash that could put him in legal jeopardy.
Commenters are also reading something into O’Malley’s tone and dismissiveness in the video.
Wow! So he allowed the problem as well unchecked!
— M (@abstractMonnie) February 18, 2025
Yup. Part of the problem. Why he's so dismissive
— Jeff Carlson (@themarketswork) February 18, 2025
The laughing was telling as well.
— M (@abstractMonnie) February 18, 2025
Mollie Hemingway described these proud, unelected bureaucrats as the unconstitutional ‘fourth branch’ of government on Tuesday. I wrote up that story here. These jerks seem to think they are untouchable.
This is permanent Washington fighting back.

We’ll see how well their arguments work.
I think this the fake laughing jag… for some reason makes me think this guy has something to be worried about
— Faded38 (@Faded38140792) February 18, 2025
Exactly so. He was part of it
— Jeff Carlson (@themarketswork) February 18, 2025
The former commissioner thinks it's funny to lose public money, but those who pay for the broken dishes aren't laughing.
— Jacob (@jacob_w_palmer) February 18, 2025
Yeah. We are definitely not laughing
— Jeff Carlson (@themarketswork) February 18, 2025
I’m not laughing either. It seems like a given that O’Malley and his ilk are guilty of something. It’s hard to imagine he and others weren’t with how much out-of-control spending and waste has been revealed. He might be laughing now but I hope we get the last laugh if arrests are made and indictments start raining down all over Washington, D.C., and the surrounding area.
