Back in 2009, a voice impressionist named Maurice LaMarche (Animanics, Futurama, The Critic) and Ohio resident Doug VanHorn teamed up to honor William Shatner for his birthday. Since then, several celebrities — including Jason Alexander and Kevin Pollock — have lent their voice talents to commemorate Captain Kirk every year on March 22, dubbed “Talk Like William Shatner Day.”
