Seven companies have decided to withdraw their support for the Republican National Convention. The following businesses will be hardly visible or totally absent from the RNC in Cleveland, Ohio this year.
Apple – Cut all funding because of Trump’s comments on women, minorities, and immgrants
Coca-Cola – Decreased its donations from $660,000 in 2012 to $75,000 this convention.
Ford – Dropped both parties to shift focus to the state level.
Hewlett-Packard – No official reason, but CEO Meg Whitman is very critical of Trump
JPMorgan Chase – Also dropped both parties despite giving $200,000 in 2012
Microsoft – Cut cash donation, but will still provide tech products and services to both parties
Wells Fargo – Gave half a million to both parties last year, but this time only the Democrats in Philadelphia will receive money
