As Twitchy readers know, Egyptian police do not protect the right of Coptic Christians to peacefully protest in Cairo. That became clear two weeks ago after an Islamist mob attacked Coptic Christians at Abbasiya Cathedral, one of Cairo’s largest Coptic cathedrals.
In the United States, by contrast, Coptic Christians are able to speak out. And today, in our nation’s capital, they are doing just that.
They are pleading with President Obama to stop cozying up to Egypt’s anti-Semitic President, Mohammed Morsi, and his friends in the Muslim Brotherhood.

We doubt President Obama will hear their plea, but maybe some members of Congress will.
