Majority Leader of the Md. House of Delegates defends chess-playing State Senator

Earlier today, we told you that anti-gun Maryland State Senator Jamie Raskin played online chess during the gun grabbing hearings in Maryland yesterday.

Now another legislator, House of Delegates Majority Leader Kumar Barve, is defending Raskin. Here is what he wrote in an email to Twitter user @CittiFo:

“Well I know Jamie, and he is a guy who routinely plays ten chess games simultaneously. He is more than capable of multitasking, so I’m sure he was in fact paying attention and playing chess.”
