No, Spike Lee did not remove Zimmerman address retweets

Several websites have reported that movie director Spike Lee’s George Zimmerman address retweets have been deleted:

Soulculture: “As for Lee, the erroneous retweet has since been removed…”

Storyful: “The re-tweet has since been removed from Lee’s account.”

altfg.com: “Lee’s retweet, since then removed but still being disseminated…”

As of this writing, however, the Zimmerman address retweets are still very much present in Lee’s Twitter feed.
