The NeverTrump PAC, an independent group determined to keep the current frontrunner from winning the Republican nomination, just released a vicious new online ad. And it’s claims are no laughing matter.
According to the ad, Donald Trump took advantage of a post-9/11 recovery program for small businesses to rake in $150,000 for the Trump Organization.
Take a look:
The money in question was allocated by the World Trade Center Recovery Grant Program, which originated in 2002.
Trump said his property “wasn’t fortunately affected” by the events of 9/11.
So, where did the money go? The issue has onlookers demanding answers.
Wow. It looks like our ad forced Trump to respond on his 9/11 $$$ steal. Says "it was probably reimbursement." What? https://t.co/yrJVlvoUWi

On top of it all, the ad is sparking new conversation around some of Trump’s old comments about the attack and the buildings themselves.
Regarding the Freedom Tower:
It is the worst pile of crap architecture I have ever seen in my life.
And his comments immediately after the attack:
Trump, a week after 9/11: “They were not ‘great’ buildings… They only became great upon their demise last Tuesday.” https://t.co/JmziqdijNf
