Bulwark's Tim Miller's weird obsession with making Christian bakers uncomfortable continues apace

meme

Something happens to people when they decide to go work for The Bulwark. Something bad. And it's not like most of those people can really afford it, because you already have to be kind of bad to begin with in order to be able to sell your soul like that.

Anyway, Tim Miller seemed fairly innocuous there for a while before he joined The Bulwark. We didn't really pay a whole lot of attention to what he said or did because, quite frankly, it didn't really matter. But it's not necessarily bad for him that we largely ignored him, because maybe it just meant that he wasn't saying or doing anything that really warranted getting called out and dragged.

Once he saw those sweet, sweet Resistance dollar signs, though, that was it. He pledged his allegiance to The Bulwark and from that moment on he was destined — or, rather, doomed — to vomit up garbage take after garbage take.

And that brings me to this. In response to Nancy Mace saying yesterday that she passed on an opportunity to have sex with her fiancé in order to attend Tim Scott's prayer breakfast, this was Tim's two cents:

Tim would notice that, wouldn't he? He loves few things more than noticing things that aren't actually things. Especially, it seems, when it comes to who's baking what cake for whom.

Honestly, that sounds like something Tim Miller would do. He's weirdly obsessed with trying to make Christian bakers uncomfortable.

And you know what? That's their prerogative. Just like it's Tim's prerogative not to write a story about how Donald Trump should not be the GOP presidential nominee. Tim and The Bulwark need Donald Trump to be the GOP presidential nominee, and having to say otherwise would completely violate Tim's principles, you see.

But I digress.

It's pretty dumb, y'all.

This is not a difficult concept to understand. And yet, it eludes Tim's grasp.

Well, I can tell you what he did communicate ... which is that he's a chronically unserious, chronically shameless, chronically terrible person.
