Jennifer Granholm's in favor of shifting entire US military vehicle fleet to fully electric by 2030

There’s nothing inherently wrong with seeking out and studying alternative fuel sources. Clean energy is great, and fossil fuels are technically a limited resource, so it’s good to have options.

The thing is that as things stand right now, fossil fuels are the best we’ve got. There are way more gas stations than there are electric vehicle charging stations, particularly in more rural ares. Rural areas like, say, American troops may find themselves while stationed overseas.

But Jennifer Granholm, who, as the U.S. Secretary of Energy, should probably know a thing or two about how all this stuff works, seems to think that reality isn’t relevant when setting goals for U.S. military vehicles.

Watch:

If Jennifer Granholm is not, in fact, stupid, she’s doing an excellent job of playing stupid.

Yes. Yes it is. Then again, the entire Biden administration is staffed by idiots, Jennifer Granholm being among them. I mean, having never served in the military myself or driven in a military vehicle (or even ridden in one), am obviously not an expert on the U.S. military or on the vehicles they use. But even I know that an all-electric U.S. military vehicle fleet is a straight-up insane goal, especially one that’s to be met by 2030.

Miller’s joking, but not really. Granholm might as well have said that. Good Lord. How did this woman ever hold office, much less get a college degree? And how on earth is she qualified to have a say in U.S. energy policy?

Do we need to send Jennifer Granholm into battle so she can see for herself that an all-EV fleet is simply not an intelligent or even feasible option? Because, like, I’d be OK with that. I feel like any politician that proposes a garbage policy should have to experience said policy before it can even be considered for institution.

Almost!
