OK guys. I’m gonna let you know right now that you’re in for yet another post that’s critical of Donald Trump. That shouldn’t come as much of a surprise to you considering who’s writing it, but I’m gonna urge you to stick around at least long enough to see what he’s done this time.
Earlier I wrote about Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis weighing in on the possible forthcoming indictment of Donald Trump over hush money payments to porn star Stormy Daniels. DeSantis took a shot at Trump’s woes, much to the chagrin of diehard Trump supporters. Although, notably, DeSantis also went after “Soros DA” Alvin Bragg “political circus.”

#ForeverTrump minions are still steaming over the fact that DeSantis pointed out an actual thing that Donald Trump is dealing with. Trump’s past, um, relationship with Stormy Daniels is pretty fair game at this point.

So now, Trump is insinuating not only that Ron DeSantis is a closeted gay man, but also that he preys upon underage people.

Donald Trump is literally pushing false far-Left narratives purely out of spite for the fact that Ron DeSantis is way more popular than he is. Well, there’s that, and there’s also the fact that Donald Trump was a bona fide New York Democrat until five minutes before he declared his candidacy for president in 2015 and has regularly invoked left-wing arguments to hit DeSantis over the past several months.

They’re going to be sorely disappointed. Again.
Trump has:
1) Called DeSantis a globalist RINO ruining Florida
2) Had his affiliated group try to impeach DeSantis
3) Accused DeSantis of being gay or possibly doing something bad with kids
and
4) Wondered why DeSantis isn't coming to his defense

In short, Donald Trump should not be Republicans’ kind of guy in 2024. Or ever, really. He’s willing to blow up the party all over again in service of his massive ego. The guy’s on a power trip and he’s ready to Thelma-and-Louise it and take his supporters and the GOP right over the cliff with him.
And anyone still supporting him in earnest at this point should really stop and think about what they’re endorsing, because it’s … not good.
