Sickly looking Siemens/Maersk chair tells WEF audience about our bright, meatless future

Boy, the annual World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, has been quite the spectacle so far. No shortage of creepy elites saying the quiet parts out loud.

And speaking of creepy elites saying the quiet part out loud, did you happen to catch Siemens and Maersk Chairman Jim Hagemann Snabe at the WEF today? He dropped a little bomb today when it was his turn to talk.

This particular little bomb was supposedly about fighting climate change, but listen to it and see if it doesn’t sound more like a thinly veiled desire to exercise further control over the great unwashed masses:

Don’t get me wrong: I’m all for sustainability and responsibility with regard to food. Where I draw the line is when someone else is telling me what I should and should not be eating. Particularly when that someone else is telling me that I have to stop eating certain foods in order to offset carbon emissions from their flights to the World Economic Forum. That’s gonna be a no from me, dawg.

If Jim et al. want to eat the bugs and live in the pods, I literally have no problem with that. In fact, I encourage it. Although if I’m being honest, I have my doubts that Jim et al. would actually eat the bugs and live in the pods. I just get the feeling that bugs and pods are what they have in mind for us plebs; they’ll get to eat whatever they want and live wherever they want and travel wherever they want and emit as much carbon as they want. That’s usually how this sort of thing works.

Not just good, but downright delectable.

Hmmm … that’s a really good point. A quality product should sell itself without having to be forced on anyone. If the bugs are that tasty, the people will eat them.

Otherwise, there are reasons that so many people on this planet want to eat meat.

Hey, unhealthy, sick, and very low-energy people can’t fight back. Elites like the sound of that. Although if Jim keeps cutting vital nutrition out of his diet, he might be joining the unhealthy, sick, and very low-energy people one of these days:

It’s true: Jim’s looking a little wan. Somebody get that man a hamburger.

Me, I’ll take a steak.
