While you’ve been busy trying to make adjustments to your monthly household budget in order to account for growing increases in the prices of basic goods and services, you may not have realized how good you actually have it. At least when it comes to gas. It may feel like you’ve been spending a lot more money to fuel up your car than you did even at this time last year, but it turns out that you’ve actually been saving about $50 a month.
At least according to White House Director of the National Economic Council Brian Deese, who took to CNN earlier today to share the encouraging news:
