Toronto Police ask for help locating 'missing woman,' and people have questions [photo]

While we generally focus on domestic stuff here, we occasionally branch out and cover what’s going on with our neighbor to the north. And we know this is a long shot, but in case we’ve got any Canadian readers in the Ryerson Avenue and Bathurst Street area in Toronto, we’re passing along this missing person alert from the Toronto Police:

Screenshotted, because of course:

From the Toronto Police’s release:

The Toronto Police Service requests the public’s assistance locating a missing woman.

Isobella Degrace, 27, was last seen on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at 3 a.m., in the Ryerson Avenue and Bathurst Street area.

She is described as 5’10″, with a thin build, shaggy blonde hair, and a full goatee. She was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and grey pants.

Police are concerned for her safety.

Police should definitely be concerned for her safety. Because they’re gonna have a hell of a time locating her when the photo they’re giving the public to ID a missing woman is clearly a photo of a dude.

Confused? Got questions? You’re in good company.

You heard them:

OK.

Evidently.

Not the intentional kind, anyway.

What a time to be alive.

We’re seriously not trying to be rude or anything, and we hope “Isobella Degrace” is safe and located soon. But Toronto Police … this is not the way to find her. Or him. Or them. Whichever.

Get it together, Canada.
