China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs suggests that America take our cues on guns from one of their favorite songs

Every time there’s a mass shooting in America, we immediately hear from other countries with stricter gun control laws about how America is doing it wrong. And that’s their prerogative if they want to criticize us.

But it’s also our prerogative to dismiss their criticisms, particularly when their own houses are infinitely dirtier and bloodier than ours.

And fewer countries’ houses are dirtier and bloodier than China’s, whose Ministry of Foreign Affairs felt compelled to weigh in on U.S. gun laws following the tragic and deadly mass shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, earlier this week:

Oh, you advise the U.S. to listen to that, do you? Should we also disarm the populace to make it easier for our government to rule over us with an iron fist? Should we also disappear people who criticize our government and throw minorities into concentration camps?

It actually does come off like a threat.

We’re not here for threats from China. But thanks to their government for reminding us why our Second Amendment is so important.

The Chinese people need a Second Amendment of their own.
