Canadian PM Justin Trudeau isn’t the brightest bulb. Especially when his face is smeared in shoe polish.
But he had a chance to not look like a complete idiot over this trucker convoy thing, and we were willing to give him a chance.
Alas, he didn’t take it:

“It has to stop.”
Canadians have the right to protest, to disagree with their government, and to make their voices heard. We’ll always protect that right. But let’s be clear: They don’t have the right to blockade our economy, or our democracy, or our fellow citizens’ daily lives. It has to stop.

So far, hundreds of RCMP officers have been mobilized to support the Ottawa Police Services. We’re also working with municipal partners to further strengthen our response, and we’ll continue to be there with whatever resources are needed to get the situation under control.
— Justin Trudeau (@JustinTrudeau) February 8, 2022
OK, Justin, but why does this particular situation need to be gotten under control?
I was told that riots which burned down ppls livelihoods and got ppl killed were justified https://t.co/SkCYhmmYpQ

Truckers aren’t looting businesses or burning down Canadian cities, last we checked.
And anyway, since when does Justin Trudeau care about Canada’s economy, democracy, and citizens’ daily lives being blockaded? That must be a pretty new development, because Trudeau didn’t seem to have that same concern when it came to COVID restrictions.
"They don’t have the right to blockade our economy, or our democracy, or our fellow citizens’ daily lives"
Yeah, that's your job…

That’s exactly what you did and every other jackass governor, PM, or President. https://t.co/PC4Xv0PsKz

Yes.
Maybe don't put a "but" after this Buddy, guy. pic.twitter.com/pqjQp8o0tf

The fact that there’s a “but” there tells you how committed Justin Trudeau is to defending Canadian citizens’ rights.

Pretty much.
Canadians have the right to protest, to disagree with their government, and to make their voices heard. We’ll always protect that right. Let’s be clear: you don’t have the right to destroy our economy, or our democracy, or our fellow citizens’ daily lives. It has to stop.
— Lange (@djlange) February 8, 2022
No, let’s be clear: You’ve spent two years blockading our economy, our democracy, and our fellow citizens’ daily lives. You’ve got to stop.
End the mandates and restrictions.#HonkHonk https://t.co/8lvaxJQm88

The aggressiveness of the protests should match the size of the evil they protest.
It does.
The protestors are not the problem you need to solve. If you "solve" that problem, you end up with two problems. https://t.co/EBEG1qym9s

Trudeau’s gonna end up with a lot more than two problems if he doesn’t slow his roll …
