Do you guys remember Steven Beschloss? He’s the writer/journalist/filmmaker brother of NBC News’ presidential historian Michael Beschloss, and for the record, he didn’t vote for Joe Manchin for president.
Last time I checked, I didn’t vote for Joe Manchin for president.

Clearly Steven is well versed in American politics.
That’s why he offered up this very sobering warning about the midterm elections:
In less than 11 months, Americans will cast their votes to decide whether or not they want to end democracy. Let’s hope enough Americans think holding onto self-governance is worth taking action.

If we may also express hope about something, let us hope that enough Americans see through ridiculousness like that.
When you think "self governance" is giving responsibility for running your life to someone who wont let you in their D.C. office https://t.co/TcBkTLFTJa

It's a given that they can vote? I've been informed that it is extremely difficult to vote.

We can’t keep up anymore!
“If the majority of the country votes in a way I disapprove of, democracy is over”

If I don’t get my way every time, democracy is dead.

I haven't forgotten how bad it got after 2016 when they ended democracy the first time…

In other words, it is only democracy and self governance when Democrats win. That doesn’t sound very democratic to me

But it sounds like something a Democrat would say.
"End democracy".
The party currently in the majority has been frantically trying to change the rules to shove their federal takeover of elections down the country's throat.
But do go on. https://t.co/Aj1NLVGevk
