Say what you will about Canada, but no one there will ever be denied health care. That just doesn’t happen in socialized medicine paradises!
Except, of course, for when it does. See, it turns out that opponents of universal health care might be onto something when they warn that universal health care isn’t really very universal at all, but rather far more restrictive than the admittedly flawed system that we currently have here.
Check out what’s evidently happening at a Canadian Ronald McDonald House
The Ronald McDonald House in Canada will evict all tenants, adults and children over the age of five, who are not vaccinated by the end of January.

Here’s the father Austin Furgason’s Facebook post:
Are you seeing red yet?

This is just absolutely devastating:
A young Kelowna family says it is being evicted from Ronald McDonald House (RMH) in Vancouver where their 4-year-old son is fighting leukemia because they don’t have COVID shots.
“My wife Lindsey was crying on the bed,” Austin Fergason told True North on Tuesday night. “I told her, I’m going to go ask the manager about this because this isn’t even real.”
…
“No matter what people’s beliefs are, everyone donates to this place because everyone wants to save dying kids,” he said. “If there was anything left to unite our country, this would have been it. And still, they find a way to segregate us and divide us even more.”
“I’m broken inside for our country just how fast this has accelerated.”

Canada is broken. And any country and any person who believes that Ronald McDonald House is doing what’s best for sick children and their families is broken, too.
Since this is such an important video, I felt the obligation to screen record the rest of it. pic.twitter.com/TsGLt2gajP

Austin Furgason is right. This is evil.
They're not kicking out the kid, just anti-vaxxers. No sympathy for that. If you have a kid with cancer, you can't afford to be hospitalized, and the vaccine is very effective at preventing that. Get vaxxed! And wear your mask properly too!

First of all, Furgason makes it clear that he and his wife are not anti-vaxxers. They and their children have received other vaccines.
Second of all, “they’re not kicking out the kid” because he’s not five years old yet. As Furgason says, if his son were six months older, he’d be out, too. But Furgason and the rest of his family will be kicked out. There is no moral justification for something like this. None whatsoever.
This is horrendous. Half the people I know caught covid over December. Most were double jabbed at least. Most think they caught it from other double or triple jabbed people. There is zero common sense or humanity here.

Yes. As Furgason also pointed out, the vaccine does not prevent contracting or transmitting COVID. At this point, the vaccine isn’t really about protecting other people, but about protecting oneself. So why are families like Furgason’s being singled out for such idiocy?
Now, for what it’s worth, Ronald McDonald House is saying that unvaccinated sick children and their families won’t be evicted, per se:
Ronald McDonald House sent out letters to families advising people of the policy so everyone involved was aware of the change and could work on minimizing any impact.
“On the recommendation of public health, the 14 member Board of Directors made the decision to mandate vaccinations for everyone working, visiting, or staying at RMH BC & Yukon to ensure we meet the highest standards of health and safety and protect the vulnerable population we serve,” a statement emailed to CityNews reads.
“We appreciate that this policy will impact those who have made a decision not to vaccinate however, the overall health and welfare of all our residents is our primary concern.”
…
Ronald McDonald House says it is trying to understand each family’s situation.
“Our family services team here would work closely with the team of social workers at the hospital to find alternate accommodation for a family that would meet their needs for the duration of their stay in Vancouver,” it told CityNews.
We’re not really sure how that’s much better. They’re still being forced to leave. Still being turned away by a charity whose sole purpose is to care for sick children and their families. Moreover, this raises the question of why Ronald McDonald House is OK with sending unvaccinated families to hotels or other facilities, when RMH claims that the unvaccinated are a health risk to others. Is it OK to infect some people?
Ronald McDonald House is citing science to justify this policy, but according to actual science, even the vaccinated still pose a risk to others and are still at risk themselves. That may be an inconvenient reality, but it’s reality nonetheless. So where does this end? The whole thing is just insane.
It's absurd how anyone can defend this.
I'd rather take my chances with the drug cartel than deal with Trudeau's communist hell.
