Yesterday, Georgia Republican Gov. Brian Kemp signed S.B. 202 into law:
I was proud to sign S.B. 202 to ensure elections in Georgia are secure, fair, and accessible. I appreciate the hard work of members of the General Assembly to make it easy to vote and hard to cheat. pic.twitter.com/1ztPnfD6rd

The bill is being denounced by many on the Left as pro-voter-suppression, thanks to things like stricter restrictions on mail-in voting and new voter ID requirements.
One of the bill’s critics is New York State Attorney General Letitia James, who, as New York State Attorney General, is vowing to examine the legal options she has to fight S.B. 202:
Attacks against the right to vote continue to threaten our democracy, and the voting restrictions passed in Georgia are deeply troubling.
My office is examining all legal options to take on these anti-democratic measures.

Perhaps her office can start by examining what business New York’s AG has meddling in Georgia’s affairs.
will be interesting to see if/how AG James will argue that NY has the standing to challenge laws passed by another state's legislature https://t.co/ID0fCRiFA0

Someone tell her she’s AG of New York not Georgia. https://t.co/wHmgrG1eD3

LOL New York State has no legal interest in Georgia’s voting laws. https://t.co/XjxH5t7JDL

As stupid as the Georgia laws are, it's a Georgia problem. A New York law maker has no business commenting on it. https://t.co/MfcwbUiHaO

When did the New York Attorney General's office's jurisdiction include Georgia? Best-case scenario, this is empty virtue-signaling. https://t.co/uiA0faN9Cn

You have no business in GA. Please take care of NY’ers. Start with ridding us of criminal leaders. https://t.co/BgGQsXdk9k

Georgia isn’t your state. Your tweet is an overreaching danger to our state’s rights protections. Further, illegal voting in your state and others is a threat to our Republic. Every illegal vote is an infringement on the voting rights of a legal voter and the democratic process. https://t.co/CBgV6oB2Ld

Perhaps you are confused. You are the Attorney General of the State of New York, not the Attorney General of the United States.

-Sexual harassment accusations in Albany
-MTA waste

1. It's not your state
2. It's to prevent voter fraud, not "restrict" voting
3. Shouldn't you be spending your time investigating Cuomo? You know, the guy whose job you want? https://t.co/XW1cIvLF41— Thomas Victory, Sui Generis (@DrThomasVictor1) March 26, 2021
This sort of deluded thinking fits a pattern.
Here's a "legal option" for you AG James: move to Georgia and get elected/appointed as the Georgia AG.
I would have said Governor, but Stacey Abrams already has that job. https://t.co/kGsNpbDdWz
