The Newseum's latest indignity is actually 'absolutely perfect imagery for journalism today' [photo]

On December 31, 2019, the Newseum was shut down to the public.

Out with a whimper, which is fitting given the state of American journalism these days.

But at least it still stood there in all its glory … until recently, that is:

Welp.

There are metaphors that beat you over the head, and then there are metaphors that club you to death.

So weird how the media claim to worship free speech while doing so much to eliminate it.

The First Amendment is a lot older than the Newseum. Hopefully it’ll outlast the crappy journalism carried out in its name.
