Now’s not the time to play politics. Which means, of course, that Democrats are playing politics.
Exhibit 729173949: Nancy Pelosi. Here’s what she’s up to:
House Dems circulate 1,119-page stimulus bill – entitled the Take Responsibility for Workers and Families Act – that Pelosi will introduce this afternoon. It remains to be seen whether Pelosi takes this up for a vote or uses this as leverage to push Senate to move closer to House

House Dem aide says the latest bill text is now 1,400 pages. The 1,119-page bill was a previous version

But back to the whole “leverage” thing. Is that really what this is about for Democrats? Leverage?
Sadly, yes.
Leveraging during a crisis, ??♂️ https://t.co/nucV0a51T4

Disgusting. Playing politics In a crisis.

Do they know they keep saying the quiet part out loud? https://t.co/xfw4Yp9sLu

Do they care?
Pelosi's #COVID19 bill is 1,119 pages and contains provisions for "conducting risk-limiting audits of results of elections" so yeah it's really very focused on the crisis at hand.??♀️ pic.twitter.com/Q6axBi14lZ

Also, guys, let's maybe focus on restricting stock buybacks and executive compensation with taxpayer loans and save the woke-scolding for later? pic.twitter.com/6iv0TKbbwU

What the hell is this doing in an emergency relief bill? pic.twitter.com/fb5PSeGPch

One more thing worth noting: The "slush fund" that Dems claimed was the real problem.
Dems have a similar loan provision in the House bill for $150 Billion, also to be carried out by the Treasury Secretary.
Almost as if that was a dishonest framing. pic.twitter.com/HSx1LGtSqD

Note that for all the complaints about how we can't trust Mnuchin with the power over this program, the language giving him the authority in the Republican Senate Bill and Dem House Bill is exactly the same (because that's how these programs are administered). pic.twitter.com/0wN22bDX8Q

Ah, yes, requiring early voting will save us all from #COVID19. pic.twitter.com/Gwg4Tcyjx5

Same day voter registration, a long-time Dem wishlist item, very relevant to addressing those businesses and working families about to go under from #COVID19. pic.twitter.com/KizGbEYq9O

We can agree or disagree about the value of collective bargaining for federal employees but can we all agree that it doesn't belong in a relief bill DESIGNED TO HELP PEOPLE WITH #COVID19. pic.twitter.com/bswhj4dMeG

I'm just going to throw this out there: Requiring the airlines to fully offset their carbon emissions is not going to save the airlines. pic.twitter.com/WcmHuI5eQr

You know what families who can't work and are struggling to make rent really care about?
Being able to look up greenhouse gas emissions from the flights they can't afford to book. pic.twitter.com/klGOhE8uOM

But Democrats are the ones who care about Americans’ well being or something.
This is a new level of disgusting politics, even for Pelosi. Read this whole thread to see how Democrats are using this public health crisis as an excuse to sneak through their failed liberal policies. Americans are desperate for help, not partisan politics. https://t.co/YoqANDduaN

Nancy Pelosi is putting a gun to the head of America right now, demanding they pass her Green New Deal or face death and economic ruin.
She knows nobody would vote for her garbage under normal conditions. She's price gouging. She's an awful, awful, awful person.
