Bernie Sanders delivered an update on his campaign from his Burlington, Vermont, headquarters this afternoon. He didn’t have much to say that he hasn’t already said before. Lots of the usual tiresome insanity.
Well Bernie was as calm and composed as ever during that presser.

But he did get in a shot at “the corporate media”:
Sanders says he’s being hampered by “the venom” in the "corporate media” among those opposing his effort.

Sanders calls out the "venom" seen in "the corporate media," cites Chris Matthews comparison of the campaign to the Nazi invasion of France

Yikes, Bernie. That’s pretty hostile rhetoric.
A chilling attack on our First Amendment. https://t.co/LRLGhYxFH9

Sanders referring to the media as snakes surely is a chilling attack on the free press, right? https://t.co/sqEJxGWk1u

Attack on the free press? Democracy dies in darkness? Anything????

Where are all the firefighters? Shouldn’t they be all over this?
And yet none of you guys are fainting and diving under your desks. https://t.co/jOn78lTdgK

Looking forward to this attack on a free press making the Stelter newsletter https://t.co/wEqeFbSXDq

Don’t be a slacker, Brian. After all, Bernie Sanders is channeling Donald Trump now. Surely that’s at least worth a mention in your media roundup, right?
Sanders is sounding more and more like Donald Trump with each passing day.

Maybe Bernie saw how well it’s worked out for Trump and decided to give it a whirl. Too bad he’s late to the party:
Trump already secured this lane, it ain't gonna work for Bernie https://t.co/KIuKxmLESO

Update:
Guess Bernie’s little anti-media outburst doesn’t merit the same sort of response that Trump’s do:
While Bernie’s criticism of the media is disappointing, I don’t follow the hand-wringing about him going after Biden. What’s he supposed to do, not draw sharper contrasts?
— Sam Stein (@samstein) March 4, 2020
“Disappointing.”
Oh… so just disappointing and not going to completely destroy our democracy?
So all that whining from journalists these last 4 yrs was mainly for nothing? Curious how that changes https://t.co/2ifPNcfOCe

So curious.
