While most of America was busy not giving a damn about last night’s Democratic presidential debate, Sara Nelson, President of the AFL-CIO-affiliated Association of Flight Attendants-CWA union, was really enjoying it. To mark the exciting occasion, Nelson tweeted out photos of herself with presidential hopefuls Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders:
I paid $0 for these selfies. Priceless. #DemDebates pic.twitter.com/lEM6kUqh9Q

$0 for those “priceless” selfies. Isn’t that special?
First of all:
Those aren’t selfies. They’re just pictures.

Someone has GOT to explain to this team what a selfie is.

Seriously. This is sad.
But even more pathetic than Sara not knowing what a selfie is is her thinking that anyone believes those photos actually cost $0.
An AFL-CIO affiliated union president saying she didn't pay for access is, indeed, priceless. https://t.co/earjbobLKD

"She" didn't pay.
— Libertarian Film (@libertarianfilm) December 20, 2019
She may not have paid, but someone definitely did.
Yeah, your members are paying for it.

Well, yeah, the dues from union members given as campaign donations paid for them

Union heads never pay, they just receive.

Oh ma'am. Surely you don't expect us to read your bio and then buy this line?
I am sorry. We are not stupid. https://t.co/S379F9iPVq

We’re definitely not stupid. But Nelson’s the one who should be sorry — for thinking we are.
