Author and entrepreneur Carol Roth recently wrote an opinion piece defending chivalry and calling out “militant feminists” who take issue with men behaving like gentlemen. Apparently that didn’t sit well with a feminist blog. Roth doesn’t seem too concerned about offending the perpetually offended wing of the Sisterhood, but that doesn’t mean she won’t call them out for trying to delegitimize her for the crime of not towing their line:
So, a "feminist blog" wrote a nasty piece on my defense of chivalry, not surprisingly (I won't include a link because they don't deserve the clicks). The most striking thing is that the author referred to me as a "random lady". She was able to do enough research (aka Googling)…

That's what "feminism" should be about…but hey, why listen to a "random lady"?
And this is why I can't and don't call myself a "feminist".

So-called feminists who disparage smart, successful women like Roth only do themselves a disservice.
They actually despise smart, talented, independent women when you look at the evidence

Feminists are the mean girls in the bathroom. They either use you, or they abuse you.
