We’ve known for some time that the media have a serious credibility problem, and this whole Mueller-Avenatti news cycle has shined yet another spotlight on it. If they want to salvage what’s left of their reputation, they’re gonna need to do a lot of introspection — and give this idea from Erick Erickson some real thought:
