As Twitchy told you, #BelieveAllWomen advocate and Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has been conspicuously silent with regard to Virginia Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax being accused of sexual assault. But she’s not alone in her silence. Her Senate counterparts don’t seem too eager to speak out, either, according to Daily Caller Capitol Hill reporter Henry Rogers:
NOW: I have asked around 10 Democratic Senators if they believe Virginia Lt. Gov Justin Fairfax’s accuser. None of them will comment, some say they have not heard the news…

Sen. Bernie Sanders will not say if he believes VA Lt. Governor Justin Fairfax’s accuser… pic.twitter.com/zU69QSzXGD

Huh.

We know our Democratic senators are very busy and important, what with having to block bills that would protect babies who survived botched abortion attempts. But you’d think that they’d at least be able to carve out ten seconds to comment on the accusations against Fairfax, right?
The news is going to be very, very slow to reach them https://t.co/Pi91vveVC7

it's funny how so many of these elected officials who are supposed to have their fingers on the pulse of the nation don't listen to the news

I always find it interesting that when Dems are cornered on answering uncomfortable questions about a scandal involving another Dem, how stupid they appear by admitting to being totally clueless on what is a huge story. They need to get out of their basements more.

Man, Democratic senators sure do become reallllllllllllly uninformed when @henryrodgersdc starts asking them tough questions about politically inconvenient things: pic.twitter.com/4LEjVKeps1

Amazing how quick they were on the Kavanaugh accusations…. almost as if…. https://t.co/eUy9rqCiPY

This is the new thing from Democrats.
When a Democrat is on the hot seat for something all the other Democrats pretend they haven't heard about it.
Meanwhile, some GOP clown on a town council in North Dakota says something dumb and they're all over it.

Bernie Sanders on Sept. 27, 2018: “I believe Dr. Ford. Brett Kavanaugh does not belong on the Supreme Court.”
Bernie Sanders today: Will not say whether or not he believes Fairfax’s accuser.
The double standard is unbelievable. pic.twitter.com/WeETlQjIwk

Update:
Holy moly:
Bernie is back and and this time he is taking fake phone calls to dodge questions about if he believes Lt. Gov Justin Fairfax’s accuser… WATCH THIS: pic.twitter.com/y6n83qPKit
— Henry Rodgers (@henryrodgersdc) February 5, 2019
Gold: Sanders fakes a call to avoid @henryrodgersdc questions about Fairfax's accuser and indignantly calls him out. Screen clearly shows he wasn't on the phone https://t.co/cUPFKcbFdi
— Saagar Enjeti (@esaagar) February 5, 2019
Man … he really does not want to talk about this.
Get me someone! And get me someone while I'm waiting! https://t.co/b6FGLGalry

Update:
Does Dianne Feinstein also have an important call she needs to take?
“I don’t know who Justin Fairfax is,” California Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein told TheDCNF. When she was reminded who he was, she responded by saying, “I don’t want to get into that.”
— Henry Rodgers (@henryrodgersdc) February 5, 2019
Dianne Feinstein claims to @henryrodgersdc she doesn't know who Justin Fairfax is. After he tells her, she says he doesn't want to address the assault allegations against him https://t.co/iQetPoy0wv
— Saagar Enjeti (@esaagar) February 5, 2019
Of course.
