As Twitchy told you, Marcia Fudge, possible challenger to Nancy Pelosi for the Speaker’s gavel, found herself in some hot water after a letter she wrote defending a wife-beater-turned-alleged-wife-murderer resurfaced.
A lot of people couldn’t help but notice the timing and wonder if Nancy Pelosi and her minions might’ve been behind it. We may never know for sure, but if they were indeed responsible for the revelation, their strategy appears to have worked:
FUDGE backs Pelosi in speaker bid: "I now join my colleagues in support of the leadership team of Pelosi, Hoyer and Clyburn."

And it seems Fudge is being rewarded for her rediscovered loyalty. She’d better be grateful for whatever Nancy gives her:

Nobody does it better.

ahahaha bend the knee! This is a great hostage statement but Pelosi should start rounding up coup plotters anyway, like Erdogan https://t.co/OjiT5f6jn4

We’d hate to see what’ll happen to Fudge if she steps out of line again …
LESSON: Don't bet against Nancy.

If you're going to come at Nancy Pelosi, you best come correct. She didn't survive this long with being one of the most brutally effective knife-fighters in Congress.

Maybe Fudge should get out ahead of this thing. Just to be safe.
She should follow that up by resigning. https://t.co/MKD2IIrYbz
