Remember when ABC News chief political analyst Matthew Dowd wasn’t a shameless ignoramus and hack? Yeah, neither do we. But just in case you’d forgotten that he’s completely full of sh*t, here’s his take on the cluster currently unfolding in Florida:
I worked on the Bush campaign in 2000 and was chief strategist in 2004. Not counting all the votes in Florida in 2000 was a grave injustice and caused many to question the legitimacy of Bush election. Let us not repeat that injustice in FL and AZ this year. Count all the votes.

Well said. https://t.co/TRzgT9VvxH

No. It is not well said. It is, in fact, very stupidly said.
In which Matthew Dowd uses his resume to add credibility to an outright lie that no one in the media will call him out on.
The votes were counted. Dowd is a lying scumbag. pic.twitter.com/YI19Ibjpl4

This is a bold faced lie by @MatthewJdowd, where are all the fact checkers when one of their own lies? pic.twitter.com/20TxH54Iuh

Holy crap, Dowd. That is a pathetic lie. Shame on you.
Once again, I remind people that the NEW YORK TIMES (certainly not conservative media!) did their own audit of the votes & still found Bush won. https://t.co/HMdB7blxsA

Not only were they counted, didn’t Bush end up with a slightly bigger margin after all the recounts?

As a matter of fact:
Just. Not. True. pic.twitter.com/JkFEcUZwkF

Never let an inconvenient truth get in the way of a good narrative. That’s Dowd’s motto.
Not to mention that this is not what the dispute is about.

They aren't calling for votes not to be counted. They're calling for Broward county to FOLLOW THE LAW.
— livefreeordeb (@vivrelibre1776) November 9, 2018
Reminder:
Once again: The complaints against Broward and Palm Beach in no way demand that the counties stop counting votes. The demand is that they follow the law and release information they are obliged to release. https://t.co/OClUkLvCKk

Matthew got his virtue-signaling brownie points. That’s all he really cares about.
