During today’s hearing, Rachel Mitchell brought up the polygraph test Christine Blasey Ford took in early August, a test that was supposed to lend credence to Ford’s story but in reality only made Ford’s story look sketchier.

Or maybe — just maybe — Mitchell is just trying to get to the bottom of this. In that case, she’s got her work cut out for her:
She can’t answer who advised her to take a polygraph?
— Stephen Miller (@redsteeze) September 27, 2018
Uh, OK. And then there’s this:
Dr. Ford can't recall which day she took the polygraph.
— Katie Pavlich (@KatiePavlich) September 27, 2018
Think that’s a little strange? It gets weirder. Apparently it was the same day as her grandmother’s funeral or something.
Polygraph was taken on the same day as her grandmother's funeral. That's… odd.
— Caleb Hull (@CalebJHull) September 27, 2018
Though Ford doesn’t know when that was.
She left a funeral?
Is this new information?— Chad Felix Greene (@chadfelixg) September 27, 2018
She doesn’t know what day her grandmother’s funeral was on?
— Stephen Miller (@redsteeze) September 27, 2018
#BlaseyFord does not remember the exact day she took the polygraph test; whether it was the day of her grandmother's funeral or the next day.#KavanaughHearings

I mean, your grandmother's funeral is a pretty big marker in memory. She can't remember if she took the poly the same day or the next day in her hotel room?
— stephiegal (@stephiegal) September 27, 2018
Are your spidey senses tingling? Well, brace yourselves, because there’s more still:
Ford: I found polygraph extremely stressful and much longer than I anticipated.
Wasn't it reported that there were only 2 polygraph questions?
— John McCormack (@McCormackJohn) September 27, 2018
The information publicly released on Dr. Christine Blasey Ford’s polygraph test results indicated that the polygraph only consisted of a couple questions. But Dr. Ford’s Senate testimony seemed to indicate that the polygraph test was much more extensive than that. Interesting.
— Jeremiah Stephan Dunleavy IV (@JerryDunleavy) September 27, 2018
Maybe there were more than just those two vague questions. But it looks like we won’t find out:
So wow. Ford counsel says that the reason they refuse to provide to underlying data for polygraph is because committee won’t let their polygraph guy testify. More demands; more withholding of information.
— Kimberley Strassel (@KimStrassel) September 27, 2018
Would you believe there’s even more?
Right after, she said she didn't remember if it was the same day or the next day and said she didn't know if she paid for it.
— Caleb Hull (@CalebJHull) September 27, 2018
Christine Blasey Ford, in Senate testimony, says she doesn’t know who paid for her polygraph test regarding sexual assault allegations against Brett Kavanaugh https://t.co/005BvMqW3Y pic.twitter.com/7aCI40i55v
— Fox News (@FoxNews) September 27, 2018
Sorry, what?
A cost of a polygraph can run anywhere from a couple hundred dollars to a couple thousand. Would think someone would remember cutting that check.
— Stephen Miller (@redsteeze) September 27, 2018
Also, doesn’t remember who paid for the polygraph, which is interesting
So it’s interesting to see journalists/pundits snarking on the polygraph questioning when the polygraph was being held up as major proof of her credibility a few days ago
— Alicia Smith (@Alicia_Smith19) September 27, 2018
Again, we’re being asked to trust in Dr. Ford’s memory from several decades ago, but we’re expected to accept that she can’t remember important details from just weeks ago?
Eh the plane thing isn't a big deal.
-Not being able to remember if you gave the Washington Post your therapist notes is
-Not remembering what day your grandmother's funeral was on is
-Not remembering if you paid for a polygraph for yourself is. https://t.co/0hZstevYFn— Stephen Miller (@redsteeze) September 27, 2018
Apologies but yes her overall credibility of how she can't seem to remember things from just six weeks ago matters.
— Stephen Miller (@redsteeze) September 27, 2018
It really does.
She doesn't know who paid for her polygraph?
Of course. She is a pawn. She is being used. She is just a means to an end for the Democrats.
