David Axelrod, for one, is less than thrilled with the U.S. Embassy in Israel’s move from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. According to him, the U.S. doesn’t really get anything out of it, other than a bruised reputation:
A big day for @POTUS base politics. Not a good day for the prospects of peace, however. The U.S. gives away a hole card without getting any concession to the peace process in return and erodes its ability to act as honest broker.

Let us stop you right there, David:
So… it's like opening of a consulate in Cuba but with Israel being a democracy while Cuba is a communist dictatorship.
Right? https://t.co/M6s2VkAoGO

Oh, snap.
But seriously. How is Axelrod in any position to lecture the Trump administration on dealmaking with regards to Israel? Did he forget who he worked for?
David are you honestly saying this coming out of the Obama foreign policy which was just appeasement around the world?

What did the Obama administration do for peace in the middle east?? I can't find anything, oh wait, yes, President Obama wouldn't even talk to Netanyahu. You have the audacity to complain about today???

In his 8 years as President what concession did Obama want from Israel to move the embassy, a move he supported? Did he ever ask for it? https://t.co/dFinpC7kmC

Hmmm …
All the bitter Obama-fans today really need to answer this. https://t.co/sCRjeoYc1F
