Twitter Reminds Mopey 'Pod Bro' Jon Favreau What Obama ACTUALLY Brought About

Busted! ThinkProgress editor doesn't want Obama blamed for ISIS terrorism, but look what he said about Bush

Earlier today, John McCain said that President Obama was “directly responsible” for the Orlando massacre:

“Barack Obama is directly responsible for it, because when he pulled everybody out of Iraq, al-Qaida went to Syria, became ISIS, and ISIS is what it is today thanks to Barack Obama’s failures, utter failures, by pulling everybody out of Iraq,” a visibly angry McCain said as the Senate debated a spending bill.

Predictably, liberal and media heads exploded, even after McCain said he just “misspoke”:

“I did not mean to imply that the president was personally responsible. I was referring to President Obama’s national security decisions, not the president himself,” McCain said in his statement, issued as his initial comments were drawing heated criticism from Democrats.

Now, you can debate whether or not Sen. McCain’s comments were out of line. But if you think you can get all outrage-y about McCain when you pulled something similar, you’ve got another thing coming.

ThinkProgress editor Judd Legum evidently thought he could get away with it:

Not so fast, Judd:

@RobProvince found a lot more where that came from:

Ooooooof.

Fair enough. Still, Legum’s sanctimony here is laughable.
