'So what?' Why does Mashable's Jim Roberts care about this Cruz fundraising email?

Mashable executive editor Jim Roberts seems pretty irritated about Ted Cruz. No, not so much about the fact that Washington Post cartoonist Ann Telnaes depicted Cruz’s daughters as trained monkeys, but more about the fact that Cruz decided to turn around and stick it to the kind of people who think his daughters are “fair game”:

Fundraising email or no fundraising email, that doesn’t make Telnaes’ cartoon or her justification for it any less repugnant.
