The New York Times were probably pretty proud of themselves over their most recent hit piece on Marco Rubio. He once spent $80,000 on a “luxury speedboat” fishing boat! He’ll never recover from that! He’s doomed!
Too bad for them their plans backfired. Not only did their stupidity help to garner sympathy for Rubio, but it actually afforded his campaign a great opportunity. And boy, did Team Rubio make the best of it:
