Pffft! Citations? Dems don’t need no stinkin’ citations! Not when there’s outrage to be drummed up:

Really? Is that so?

@SenateDems : Cite your work or you receive zero credit. Surely the former Harvard prof @SenWarren knows THAT.

Well, here’s what Warren wrote last year:
Women today still earn only 77 cents for every dollar a man earns, and they’re taking a hit in nearly every occupation. Bloomberg analyzed Census data and found that median earnings for women were lower than those for men in 264 of 265 major occupation categories. In 99.6 percent of occupations, men get paid more than women. That’s not an accident; that’s discrimination.
Recommended
And there’s this from May of 2012:
Women Earn Less Than Men in Nearly All Occupations. According to a Bloomberg analysis of U.S. Census data, women’s median earnings are less than men’s median earnings in 264 of 265 major occupation categories. Women working in the personal care and service worker category are the only exception, making only 2 cents more to every dollar made by men. [Bloomberg, 3/16/12]
That Bloomberg article the Dems use there to support that “264 of 265” stat? It’s the damnedest thing: It seems to have vanished!
So, long story short, Fauxcahontas’ case is up in smoke.
MT @SenateDems @SenWarren: In 99.6% of all job categories, men outearn women. That is not an accident—I also totally just made that up.
