@JohnEkdahl Judd is all sorts of butt hurt right now looking at his TL
— olliander (@ollieblog) April 8, 2015
ThinkProgress editor in chief Judd Legum is really mad, you guys. Why? Because Debbie Wasserman Schultz got busted for her position on abortion. Basically, she doesn’t seem to think there should be any real restrictions on it:
“I support letting women and their doctors make this decision without government getting involved. Period. End of story.”
When CNN reporter Chris Moody asked for clarification of Wasserman Schultz’s remarks, that’s when Legum lost it:
This is some serious BS @moody https://t.co/wmjSGfDQsm
— Judd Legum (@JuddLegum) April 8, 2015
@JuddLegum Happy to hear your take. But the specific question was about restrictions on abortion. Context: http://t.co/QWbf0pz77F
— Chris Moody (@moody) April 8, 2015
@moody Why are you "asking" if Democrats support zero restrictions on abortion when you know that isn't true
— Judd Legum (@JuddLegum) April 8, 2015
https://twitter.com/ByronTau/status/585889949922283520
@ByronTau @moody It's framed as a political "gotcha" but DWS' answer mirrors the Democratic party platform
— Judd Legum (@JuddLegum) April 8, 2015
@ByronTau @moody Also, not an actual question. As you know, Democrats do not support "zero" abortion restrictions
— Judd Legum (@JuddLegum) April 8, 2015

Your anger is duly noted, Judd. But with all due respect — and there’s never been much of that due to you — it’s Wasserman Schultz and Democrats you should be disgusted with.
@JuddLegum Can you name one abortion restriction Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama supports? @ByronTau @moody
— John McCormack (@McCormackJohn) April 8, 2015
@McCormackJohn @ByronTau @moody Dem platform says "unequivocally supports Roe v. Wade" which has restrictions
— Judd Legum (@JuddLegum) April 8, 2015
@JuddLegum Roe v. Wade does not *impose* restrictions. Did you not know that? @ByronTau @moody
— John McCormack (@McCormackJohn) April 8, 2015
@McCormackJohn @ByronTau @moody I didn't say it imposes restrictions
— Judd Legum (@JuddLegum) April 8, 2015
@JuddLegum @ByronTau @moody So back to the question: Can you name one abortion restriction that Hillary Clinton supports?
— John McCormack (@McCormackJohn) April 8, 2015
@McCormackJohn @ByronTau @moody I think support of Roe v. Wade is consistent with support for 3rd trimester restrictions. You can disagree.
— Judd Legum (@JuddLegum) April 8, 2015
@JuddLegum You're a former Hillary Clinton staffer, which is how I identified you. Just pointing out it was bs to call bs on @moody
— John McCormack (@McCormackJohn) April 8, 2015
@McCormackJohn @moody I think Moody's question is BS for a number of reason. A big one is that women aren't seeking elective 3rd trimester
— Judd Legum (@JuddLegum) April 8, 2015
@McCormackJohn @moody abortions and to assume they is absurd and offensive
— Judd Legum (@JuddLegum) April 8, 2015
But Wasserman Schultz’s position isn’t absurd and offensive? C’mon, man.
@McCormackJohn so she doesn't support restrictions you like. I could have told you that
— Judd Legum (@JuddLegum) April 8, 2015
@JuddLegum Well, you haven't even shown evidence that she supports this non-restriction "restriction."
— John McCormack (@McCormackJohn) April 8, 2015
Hmmm … well, if it’s evidence you’re looking for, Legum’s not your guy.
@McCormackJohn you seem to be looking for someone who works for Hillary. Recommend you contact them. Thanks
— Judd Legum (@JuddLegum) April 8, 2015
Awww, he bravely ran away! How precious.
@JuddLegum In other words, it's an unanswered question, and you were wrong to say @moody's question was bs.
— John McCormack (@McCormackJohn) April 8, 2015
@McCormackJohn @moody It was answered. I: 1. Stand by my view the question is BS, 2. Am resolved not to waste more time w/you
— Judd Legum (@JuddLegum) April 8, 2015
But the truth is right on your heels, buddy.
ThinkProgress editor @JuddLegum doesn't like it when Democrats are asked questions. https://t.co/kn9hT0wN3O
— Darin Lloyd (@db_lloyd) April 8, 2015
.@JuddLegum Why shouldn't Democrats be asked this question? @moody
— BT (@back_ttys) April 8, 2015
@JuddLegum @moody If it isn’t true, what did DWS mean by her words?
— Charles C. W. Cooke (@charlescwcooke) April 8, 2015
Amazing how quick this standard-for-a-Republican line of questioning sends them into fits. https://t.co/qYhXmUAtQh
— John Ekdahl (@JohnEkdahl) April 8, 2015
@JuddLegum @ByronTau @moody what's your objection? That drawing attention to extreme platform position is unfair?
— Chance Gardener (@ChanceBGardener) April 8, 2015
.@JuddLegum It seems you and the chair of the DNC don't see eye to eye on this. @ByronTau @moody

@JuddLegum @ByronTau @moody So which restrictions? You just demanded Paul answer about specific cases, but D's not obligated to do same?

@seanmdav Simple for @JuddLegum to resolve. He just needs to list the restrictions on abortions Democrats support. @ByronTau @moody
— Claire Mahoney (@TaggertGirl) April 8, 2015
@JuddLegum @McCormackJohn Why do you keep objecting to people asking what restrictions Democrats support if you admittedly can't name them?
— (((AG))) (@AG_Conservative) April 8, 2015
Because he was never interested in facts. The truth just hurts too damn much!
