Last month, Nancy Pelosi claimed she had no idea who Jonathan Gruber was. “He didn’t help write our bill,” she said. President Obama referred to Gruber as “some adviser who never worked on our staff.” At yesterday’s hearing, Gruber didn’t try to correct them, insisting that if the White House chose to refer to him as an adviser, then that’s all he was.
