As Twitchy reported, Ohio Gov. John Kasich spent a good chunk of yesterday trying to dig himself out of a hole of his own creation. After the AP reported that Kasich said Obamacare won’t be repealed, he attempted to “clarify” by saying he was only referring to Medicaid expansion. Needless to say, nobody was buying what he was selling:
"I don’t see how supporting Medicaid is the same as supporting Obamacare," Kasich told WSJ of the Obamacare expansion http://t.co/bAuE39uIbt

"Mr. Kasich maintained that the two issues [Obamacare and Obamacare's Medicaid expansion] are separate [which is incredibly stupid]"

Clearly Kasich isn’t very good at this whole explaining-stuff thing. Fortunately, he has very competent staff to help him out:

Sorry, guys. But the AP didn’t get Kasich his reputation as a pro-Obamacare squish; he got that all on his own.

@BenHowe AP just didn't grasp Kasich's brilliant "I hate Obamacare but I love Obamacare Medicaid expansion but that's not Obamacare" nuance
