The wheels on the bus go thump, thump, thump.
Despite this morning’s bombshell report that the State Department played a major role in revisions to the Benghazi talking points, including any references to terror, Press Secretary Jay Carney continued to falsely insist this afternoon that the CIA was responsible for making the changes.
Carney says all substantive #Benghazi talking point edits were by CIA. Does that mean they did all the typing?

The buck stops anywhere but the White House!
.@PressSec again says WH changed only one word in final talking points.
— Kelly O'Donnell (@KellyO) May 10, 2013
We didn’t do it!
Shorter Jay Carney: Nothing is ever, ever, ever our fault.
— Kristi Assange. Ω (@AltAnalyst) May 10, 2013
Look! Squirrel!
Obama is going to throw the CIA under the bus? How's that worked out for previous administrations? #NotWell
— Drew McCoy (@_Drew_McCoy_) May 10, 2013
I don't think the CIA will take kindly to being thrown under the bus to cover for the mistakes of this WH…
— (((AG))) (@AGHamilton29) May 10, 2013
Hey Jay…where did the CIA ever say anything about "a youtube video"?
— Drew McCoy (@_Drew_McCoy_) May 10, 2013
They didn’t.
Carney saying that edits were to make sure no incorrect info was used. Uh, like the fact that it was spontaneous attack motivated by video?
— Philip Klein (@philipaklein) May 10, 2013
Yeah. The White House was only interested in accurate information.
Carney still saying the talking points were based on the "best information" available. This just false. #Benghazi

RT @Brendan_Buck: Been reported the CIA didn't even recognize its talking points after the administration ordered all the changes.

Unbelievable… @PressSec Jay Carney is lying his ass off right now on Benghazi-Says talking points were on what we knew and not speculation
— Jim Hoft (@gatewaypundit) May 10, 2013
"We need to focus on the facts here," -Jay Carney says while lying #benghazi
— Katie Pavlich (@KatiePavlich) May 10, 2013
Just the facts, ma’am. Or not:
Oh my God. Carney is going to double-down on claiming everyone thought it was the result of a protest.
— Sunny McSunnyface (@sunnyright) May 10, 2013
the collective assessment of the intelligence community was that it was spontaneous–Carney. OH?
— John Podhoretz (@jpodhoretz) May 10, 2013
Carney says the "spontaneous protest" WAS the intel community's best assessment at the time. LIE. #Benghazi
— Guy Benson (@guypbenson) May 10, 2013
Did Jay Carney not listen to the testimony Wes? "The intelligence community told us there was protest" that's funny, Hillary knew it wasn't
— Katie Pavlich (@KatiePavlich) May 10, 2013
"Not going beyond what we knew" -Carney. Still not admitting Hillary knew this was an attack at 2 a.m. #benghazi
— Katie Pavlich (@KatiePavlich) May 10, 2013
Question for Jay Carney "Why did Hillary stand in front of flag draped caskets of dead Americans and lie about a video?" #benghazi
— Katie Pavlich (@KatiePavlich) May 10, 2013
Inquiring minds want to know, Jay. Too bad we’ll never get an honest answer out of him.
Carney's body language screams I'M LYING TO YOU.
