Earlier this month, Minnesotan gun rights activists attended gun control hearings in the state house. This afternoon, those activists paid a visit to the state senate, where a hearing was held to discuss proposed gun control legislation:

Fortunately, the Minnesota state legislators seem to be a bit more adept at keeping their feet out of their mouths than their Colorado counterparts. And many of those who testified made a strong case for gun ownership.

But whether the powers that be ultimately rule in favor of upholding Minnesotans’ Second Amendment rights remains to be seen. Public testimony before the senate will resume this evening.
