Dope: Olivia Wilde touts Occupy Wall Street-themed playing cards

We’ve known for some time that the actress isn’t playing with a full deck, but her newest purchase is unlikely to solve that problem. Wilde was excited to share with her followers that she will soon be the proud owner of a very special set of playing cards: 52 Shades of Greed. Now, aren’t those practically begging to be framed?

Good call, Olivia: “dope” does seem like a good word for anything Occupy-related.

Just what is 52 Shades of Greed all about? Well, “52 Shades of Greed is a deck of playing cards bearing illustrations of the people and financial institutions whose lust for money took the rest of barreling on a steamy train ride towards economic collapse.” Genius, right? Here’s more from the cards’ very own explanatory video!

So, the money generated from sales supposedly goes toward card production as well as stipends for each artist. Let’s see … goods being sold and people being paid for their services? That sounds suspiciously like capitalism. Eek!
