Akin apologizes for, 'clarifies' rape remarks on Huckabee radio show

The embattled GOP senate candidate took to the airwaves today on the Mike Huckabee Radio Show to address his controversial statements on ‘legitimate rape’ and post-rape pregnancy.

So, will Akin withdraw from the U.S. Senate race in Missouri? It doesn’t sound like it:

Klein is right: it’s unlikely that many Republicans will be satisfied with Akin’s apology. The number of calls on Akin to drop out, from the general public as well as from other GOP politicians, is increasing. Whether or not Akin will follow their advice remains to be seen.
