When you cover politics and current events for a living, it's very easy to get cynical very quickly. So, when this story about the Easter Bunny dropping 1000 Easter eggs from a helicopter for kids in Black Mountain, NC, crossed my timeline, I almost cried.
Almost.
I may have teared up a little, even.
Add to that the man in the bunny suit also rescued countless victims during Hurricane Helene with that same helicopter and we have the feel-good story of the month.
Take a look at this:

Happy Easter! ✝️
That is wonderful!
When we spend so much time reporting the 'bad' stuff, the 'good' stuff becomes that much more meaningful.
I love this so much… it absolutely restored my faith in people

God bless him. What an uplifting thing to do for the children. The children have endured so much suffering during and after Helene. This is something they will never forget.

It's pretty darn magical even for us old, cynical adults.
