By definition, a coup is a suddent, violent, and unlawful seizure of power from the government. I don't know about you guys but what I've been seeing in the last 24+ hours with Biden allegedly stepping aside and endorsing Kamala Harris has felt off, eerie, and even a little creepy. You'd think the President of the United States would be front and center to talk to his citizens about a big change like dropping out of an election where he's an incumbent. But instead, we get a bizarre letter on Twitter/X we KNOW he did not write, some note from his doctor saying he's on his last dose of Paxlovid, and that he's doing his presidential duties.
And yet, we do not see Biden doing anything.
And we've seen no signs of life from Biden either.
Add to that a story Charlie Kirk heard about a medical incident in Las Vegas with Biden last week and it's all starting to feel very very very off. So if I and other conservatives, right-wingers, Republicans, etc. think it feels like a coup by God we'll call it a coup. Sorry scolds like Stephen Hayes, you don't get to call the shots anymore.
Case in point.

Joe Biden never should have been the Democratic nominee. And Dems deserve heavy blame for misleading the country about his cognitive decline.

And it's irresponsible for Rs to pretend otherwise, esp if they've downplayed Trump's stolen election claims and Jan 6th.
Give us a break with the January 6th crap, Hayes. We've heard it. Been there, done that, have the t-shirt. I don't know about you guys but I am sick and tired of being lectured by people who think they're the boss of me or anyone.
Especially when what we're seeing is unheard of, the events we're experiencing are unprecedented.
Something is really wrong here and I doubt any of us will feel any sort of relief until that old man makes an appearance.
So I say in closing, coup coup coup.
Coup.
