I know I know, I'm writing about Vivek Ramaswamy AGAIN but you guys, something just keeps setting my radar off. I'm not naive, I know politicians lie and play games and even switch parties because ultimately, politicians care more about getting elected than they do actually serving the people. Honestly, I'm not sure why we still call them 'public servants' - I can't remember the last time any of them actually 'served' the public.
Anyway.
Back to Ramaswamy.
Maybe it was the whole rapping of an old Eminem song OR maybe it's the 9/11 truther crap (that he still hasn't walked back) that started my radar going off. OR maybe it was during the GOP Debate when he reminded everyone of a senator named Barack Obama, but red flags just keep popping up.
Like this video of a very young Ramaswamy on Hardball asking Al Sharpton which Democrat he should vote for. Considering his odd voting record as a Republican this raised my eyebrows.

Democrat.
Interesting.
Also the question about why he should vote for the Democrat with the least experience ... isn't HE the current candidate with the least experience? Hrm. Again, I get it, we all change our minds as we age and life changes around us but I just can't seem to let this stuff go.
Maybe it's a Sam problem and not a Vivek problem.
Although to be fair, I'm not the only one struggling with a lot of this.
Reminds me of when someone uncovered Dylan Mulvaney's old episode of The Price is Right

When we all learned Dylan was really just an actor trying to make a name for himself.
Yup.
That's what this feels like.
As I've said many many many times before, ultimately I am Team Republican and whoever gets the nod gets my support, BUT I also think we really need to make sure we know WHO is out there campaigning in 'our' name.
I'm fussy that way.
