Now that Elon Musk has made it possible for basically anyone who is willing to prove they are who they say they are to get a fancy blue check, it’s much harder for those of us who cover the insanity of Twitter for a living to know what is and is not a parody account. Especially when so much of what we see from our pals on the Left reads a lot like a freakin’ parody. In my mind, nobody could possibly be THAT insane or think SUCH crazy-a*s stuff
And yet every day I’m surprised by real people who ARE that insane and who DO think crazy a*s stuff.
I’m double surprised when it’s an elected official although if I’m being honest, I should be the least surprised about elected Democrats in 2023. Or in any year for that matter.
What sort of maniac thinks it’s un-American for a kid to be safe at home with a married mom and dad?
THIS sort of maniac, right here.
Extremist group Family Heritage Alliance said this morning that the safest place for kids are in families that have a married mom and dad. What a dangerous and un-American belief.

Not sure who this woman is a representative for but … YIKES.
C’mon, you’d have thought she was a parody as well, right? But no … she is very real. She has a Ballotpedia page and everything. Oh, and her timeline is a plethora of preposterous.
Take a look:
On Tuesday, I pitched HB 1159 to exempt menstrual products from the state sales tax. Not having access to products deprives people who menstruate of their basic dignity.

People don’t menstruate, Erin.
Women do.
We know that kids are going to die because of this bill. We know that most Republicans realize that this bill and its testimony is full of lies and misinformation. I am disappointed by the lack of moral courage in this Capitol.

Apparently, if children aren’t allowed to mutilate their bodies they’ll die.
Good Morning from Washington DC! Today I will be meeting with Vice President Kamala Harris to discuss women's reproductive rights and access to women's healthcare due to a potential special session in SD to enact more abortion bans in South Dakota.

She even met with Kamala Harris.
Because of course, she did.
Heh.
Yeah, she’s a cookie-cutter of awful. A walking, talking bumper sticker filled with bad ideas … in very red South Dakota.
And sadly NOT a parody.
