One of my favorite pro-life quotes ever comes from Mother Teresa who said, ‘Abortion is profoundly anti-women. Three-quarters of its victims are women: Half the babies and all the mothers.’
Profoundly anti-woman.
That’s powerful, especially considering how our pals on the pro-abortion side like to frame abortion as some sort of GIRL POWER. They’ve been trying to tie my rights (and millions and millions of other women’s rights) to the act of taking the life of another. In my mind pushing for abortion is the opposite of empowerment, it is telling women it’s ok for them to make another pay the ultimate price for their choices.
And yes, the choice comes LONG before another person is involved.
Sorry, not sorry.
So seeing this thread from Lila Rose about THIRTEEN new pro-abortion laws in California just makes my heart ache. And considering there is plenty of rumbling about Democrats running Newsom instead of Biden we should all be paying attention to this … now.
Take a gander:
BREAKING:
Pro-abortion @GavinNewsom just signed 13 pro-abortion bills into law to expand child-killing in California.
Here’s what these egregious laws do:

A.B. 2223 is a pro-infanticide bill that blocks investigations into miscarriage, stillbirth or abortion even if a coroner sees evidence of foul play in the child’s death, including drugs in the baby’s system.
— Lila Rose (@LilaGraceRose) September 29, 2022
… even if a coroner sees evidence of foul play in the child’s death.
Evil.
S.B. 1245 establishes a “reproductive health pilot project” in LA to “support innovative approaches and collaborations to safeguard abortion access.”
According to the LA Times, this bill sets aside $20M for the Los Angeles County Abortion Access Safe Haven Pilot Program.

$20 million for abortion.
Just in this one law alone.
S.B. 1142 would establish an abortion info website and a review of the “Abortion Practical Support Fund” which may:
– Connect women to abortion clinics & services
– Provide grants to organizations to cover abortion— Lila Rose (@LilaGraceRose) September 29, 2022
Where do these dollars come from?
Hrm.
S.B. 1375 allows non-doctors (Nurse Practitioners, and Certified Nurse-Midwives) to be trained to perform dangerous aspiration abortions, placing mothers in grave danger
— Lila Rose (@LilaGraceRose) September 29, 2022
Good Lord.
A.B. 1242 prohibits state law enforcement agencies from helping with out-of-state abortion investigations.
It also forces out-of-state law enforcement agencies seeking data from California corporations to attest that their investigation is unrelated to abortion.
— Lila Rose (@LilaGraceRose) September 29, 2022
This just gets worse and worse.
A.B. 2586 establishes the CA Reproductive Justice and Freedom Fund to support organizations in disseminating “comprehensive reproductive/sex-ed,” including abortion information, to “disproportionately impacted communities.”
— Lila Rose (@LilaGraceRose) September 29, 2022
In other words, they’re making sure communities in poverty are able to continue to abort.
Hey, that’s how it reads.
AB 2134 establishes the “CA Reproductive Health Equity Program” to provide grants to providers who provide free abortifacients/abortions to low-income mothers or mothers facing financial barriers.
— Lila Rose (@LilaGraceRose) September 29, 2022
Gotta keep abortion equitable, y’all.
AB 2205 requires Covered California plans to report annually the total funds collected in special accounts for abortion.
— Lila Rose (@LilaGraceRose) September 29, 2022
SB 2091 prohibits health care providers from releasing medical information on an individual seeking an abortion in response to a subpoena or request from out-of-state.
— Lila Rose (@LilaGraceRose) September 29, 2022
SB 523 expands abortifacient birth control access by forcing health plans to cover specific over-the-counter birth control without cost sharing. It also prohibits employment-related discrimination based on reproductive health.
— Lila Rose (@LilaGraceRose) September 29, 2022
So in other words, Hobby Lobby, Sisters for the Poor, etc. will have to pay for birth control.
AB 657 expedites licensure for “health care providers” coming to California to perform abortions.
AB 2626 prohibits specified licensing boards from suspending/revoking a license solely for performing an abortion.
— Lila Rose (@LilaGraceRose) September 29, 2022
So someone like Kermit Gosnell would have a safe haven there?
AB 1918 creates the “CA Reproductive Health Scholarship Corps” to recruit, train, and retain a workforce of health care professionals to kill children in “underserved areas of the state.”
— Lila Rose (@LilaGraceRose) September 29, 2022
Holy crap.
Mobile abortion group?
Newsom is destroying my beautiful state, fighting daily to make it a more hostile and violent place for life.
If you live in California, it’s critical you vote NO on Proposition 1 November 8th to make abortion an absolute constitutional right in the state.
— Lila Rose (@LilaGraceRose) September 29, 2022
This sounds like a biggie, Californians. Do not vote to make abortion part of your Constitution …
