If you pay any attention at all to the news you’ve likely seen a new CNN ‘exclusive’ about how the CIA allegedly removed an operative from Russia in 2017 because they didn’t trust that Trump wasn’t compromised. Forget that CIA Director Gina Haspel’s office debunked this out of the gate, the media has taken and run with it.
It’s what they do now you know.
Anything to keep that whole Russia narrative thing alive.
And if this latest story is as confusing to you as it is to us, you should read through Sean Davis’ thread which explains what’s really going on here.
For those curious about what’s going on with this bizarre Russia “spy” story: Burr/Durham know Steele was fed obvious disinformation, they know who originated it, they know who peddled it, and it’s just a matter of rounding up the whole network.

Get on with it already, people. It’s been YEARS now.
YEARS.
The silly extradition of the “spy” was a face-saving maneuver by U.S. intel operatives needing to pretend their bogus source was legit and by Kremlin disinformation operatives needing to pretend their guy wasn’t running a disinformation operation that snagged Brennan et. al.

Brennan.
Color us not shocked.
So the only two unanswered questions about this particular pre-emptive leak campaign from the usual Russia hoax suspects are 1) why now, and 2) what specific event or official revelation are they trying to get ahead of?

*all the popcorn*
It’s gotta be big.
The Russia hoaxsters are using the same playbook from last year when they outed Stefan Halper after Nunes started asking questions about him: 1) Claim the “spy” is in mortal danger, 2) blame the investigator for the “spy’s” peril, then 3) straight up out the endangered “spy.”
