This is really and truly shameful.
Or does that mean TIME is shameless?
Either way, shame is involved here.

How convenient of TIME to leave out they left because they were pissed that Democrats tried to make the vigil they promised about gun control. It’s almost as if they were trying to hide the fact that Democrats never let a crisis go to waste.
Cam Edwards brought down the hammer:
No, they walked out of a gun control rally that was billed as a vigil for the victims. https://t.co/cGpuldO2WJ

Bingo.
Granted, in their subheader, they mentioned what the students were actually protesting but c’mon, they know people are going to read that headline and react without reading the sub or even the article itself.
Good for them! That was not the right time or place for what was going on and I'm glad they stood up for what they wanted, not what some politicians wanted.

Mainstream journalism. Will it ever crawl out of the cesspool and evolve into credible journalism?
*rhetorical question

The answer is NO.
And they did so rightfully. They wanted to grieve and honor their fellow students and heroes who saved uncountable lives by acting with courage and deliberation in defense of others, unlike Bennet and the gun control zealots who danced in secret jubilation in our children’s blood
