Earlier today, Twitchy told you about Jim Acosta’s pathetic attempt at pushing a literal ‘fake news’ story about Trump and his comments about Charlottesville. As we pointed out, the terrific news about the US economy probably set little Jimmy off so he needed something negative to tweet and talk about.
Little Jimmy. We like that.
Trump defends his “very fine people” comments on Charlottesville: “People were there protesting the taking down of the monument of Robert E. Lee. Everybody knows that.” Fact check: There were many neo-Nazis and white supremacists.
— Jim Acosta (@Acosta) April 26, 2019
*sigh*
This freakin’ guy.
Steven Crowder did a fantastic job of fact-checking CNN’s saddest fact-checker.
Incorrect.
Trump specifically said he was not talking about neo-Nazis and white supremacists.
Direct quote from transcript: "I'm not talking about the neo-Nazis and the white nationalists. They should be condemned totally."https://t.co/RBd2b21alt https://t.co/LKZn7KCdPp— Steven Crowder (@scrowder) April 26, 2019
Jim knows he was incorrect.
Jim knows what Trump really said.
Jim doesn’t care about reality though because all he really cares about is his own narrative and dunking on Trump.
This quote needs to be retweeted, restated & repeated in the media & on social media every time it is brought up!! Can I get an Amen people?
— Micks6 (@hockeyref99) April 26, 2019
Amen.
Why not?
@Acosta doesn't like to let facts get in the way of his propaganda.

True dat.
He's not incorrect. He's lying. He knows the whole thing was a hoax.
— Jeff The Conservatarian (@JeffOnTheRight) April 26, 2019
See?! That’s what we said.
As much as I loathe defending Donald Trump, it is dishonest to misrepresent his position by means of omission as @Acosta and others have done with this.
Pick any number of other things to honestly attack #DerangedDonald about, there isn't exactly a shortage.

When even anti-Trumpers are calling you out, Jim?
Yeah, not a great look.
